If you speak little or no Dutch at all, getting a Dutch driving license won't be a problem. We have already helped lots of foreign students from many different countries. We give car driving lessons in English and German. Other languages are also possible. We have a good network of colleague instructors. Of course you can take your family or friend to the driving lesson as an interpreter. For Japanese please read Japanese page.
You already have a Dutch or a European driving licence, but...
When you need a little help to drive in the Netherlands as a holder of valid driving license, we can also help you. You can take driving lessons to get used to drive in Dutch traffic, between trams and bicycles, up from 1 lesson.
It's possible. You can do your theoretical exam for car in English. If you prefer your own language, you can take an interpreter with you. For further information please read www.tolkennet.nl.

Please do not hesitate to contact us. We would like to give good advice for your situation. But we cannot answer all questions about (foreign) driving licenses and/or your staying status. Please inform it by the embassy
or city hall/IND.
CBR is the driving test organisation. Your theory and practical exam has hold at local CBR offices in all over the Netherlands.
When you want to do the theoretical exam in your own language than Dutch or English, you can book an individual exam with an interpreter. Unfortunately you may not to take your friend or family to do it. You have to arrange an interpreter always via Tolkennet. Please check the fee and the condition on www.tolkennet.nl.
